Organic Container Vegetable Gardening for Beginners from William Moss

Join Master Gardener William Moss as he shares his tips on creating the perfect container garden. Container gardens are perfect for urbang gardening, kitchen gardens, indoor gardens, and more. You can even use container gardens to host an organic vegetable garden. If you’re a beginner, choose veggies that are easy to grow:

Using a process Moss calls the “meat, vegetable, starch” process, you should select plants based on three different areas: “meat” being the center focal point, “vegetables” being a compliment to the “meat”, and “starch” being any filler plants that can be used to create depth or to hang over the sides of the container.

Moss suggests using organic gardening products, such as SaferĀ® Brand products, when caring for your herb, vegetable, or fruit gardens because they do not create an adverse affect on the environment:
